As we head into President's Day weekend, I am sharing three opportunities for educator enrichment this spring.
Webinar: Utah Histories of Housing and Communities of Color
Wednesday, February 23 @ 7:00 pm
Part of the Utah State Historical Society 125th Anniversary Speaker Series, this evening session will focus on Utah's Bankhead family and housing problems among people of color in the state. The panel has been organized by Tonya Reiter, author of "Not In My Neighborhood: The 1939 Controversy over Segregated Housing in Salt Lake City" in the winter 2022 issue of Utah Historical Quarterly, and will feature perspectives of two Bankheads, Kellen Perkins and Nichol Bordeaux.

The CFP announcing this year's Utah State Historical Society annual conference is now open for submissions. We invite scholars, researchers, educators, students, and members of the public to submit proposals from history and allied fields, opening interdisciplinary dialogue that explores the connection of water to our collective past and future.
